What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
Although my first-year was quite unorthodox, it was certainly special. Moving to a new part of the country to start a whole new chapter of my life in the middle of the pandemic is no small feat, but the Macalester community as a whole made the best of our first year on campus. It also showed the true character of our team and the bond we share. In a year where we were not allowed to spend as much time together as we would have liked, we were still a very tight group and it demonstrated how we are all looking out for each other and want our teammates to succeed as much as ourselves.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a student-athlete has played a pivotal role in shaping me as the person I am in my community and the classroom. It has allowed me to grow and have an outlet to collaborate with my teammates towards a common goal which carries over well into other aspects of life.
