2018
Had four appearances on the mound… Gave up one earned run and three hits in four innings of work against St. Thomas May 1.
 
2017
Earned his first collegiate victory in his first appearance… Held UW-Superior to one run on three hits over 3 2/3 innings in the Scots’ 8-7 win Apr. 23.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My time at Macalester has allowed me to meet people who I could relate to and become close within a short time period. Both the staff and students made me feel comfortable once I stepped on campus. In addition, Macalester's safe environment immediately encouraged me to challenge myself both academically and athletically. The mixture of the great people at Macalester and the college itself has definitely eased my transition to college. College brings so much more independence and it was difficult for me to adequately manage my time. My coaches, friends and professors have helped me find ways to overcome these new challenges.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Since I have been to Macalester I have turned into a broader thinker, become a lot more open minded and have been able to understand others’ experiences. Macalester professors work hard on hearing from everyone in the classroom and to understand how different types of people solve problems. This has made me a better problem solver and be able to understand others’ experiences. This has helped me deal with becoming a better teammate, being able to solve complex problems in my studies, and to prepare for any tasks my boss gave me during my internships and jobs.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Macalester has taught me how to work hard with improving my baseball skills and with my studies. Macalester has kept me passionate and curious about the world around me. Baseball has allowed me to improve my leadership skills and to trust and learn from the people around me. Our team’s high standards and our school’s difficulty has stretched me athletically and academically to raise my skillset.
