2014
Picked up first collegiate start against UW Superior Mar. 18… Notched first win against Cornell Mar. 30 throwing five scoreless innings with six strikeouts.

Before Mac
Four-time letterwinner at High School of American Studies… Twice named team MVP… Team went to the city championship his senior year after finishing 1-16 his freshman year… Earned All-PSAL his senior year… Posted a 1.65 ERA his senior year on his way to eight wins and notched 99 strikeouts in 51 innings pitched… Pitched in Mayors Cup Championship (all-star game between public and private schools)… Four-time honor roll member… Three-time letterwinner in basketball and captained team his senior year.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
So far, my experience at Macalester has meant growth. Both on the field and off, Macalester has allowed me and moved me to grow as an individual. Whether it has been in the classroom as a student, in the community as a leader, or on the field as a teammate, Macalester has given me a new sense of place and person, and has caused me to mature in a way I had never experienced before.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a student-athlete at Mac has meant forming a new family and building new relationships constantly, from recruitment to fall ball to a full spring season. As an individual, interacting with so many different types of people and interacting with so many different coaches and the training staff has made me a more well-rounded person. The Macalester Athletics family is more than just a collection of teams, and sharing space and experiences with so many different people has made me more than just a baseball player.
