Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I wanted a small liberal arts school, close to home, that would let me be a part of a great community. Also, the opportunity to play baseball at the college level was exciting.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Any athlete at Macalester can probably tell you the challenges in being a student-athlete at such a demanding academic college. However it's through the daily grind and adversity that I have personally pushed myself not only as a student-athlete, but also as a person. Some days getting it all done may seem like too much, getting to the gym, working hard through practice, and completing my school work, but being around good people with similar interests, playing a game we all love gives me the energy to do it all.
