T.J. Cafferty joined the coaching staff in 2017, bringing a wealth of experience from both the DIII and DI levels. His primary duties include working with the catchers, assisting with hitters, advanced scouting, and recruiting. Cafferty served as an assistant coach at his alma mater Pacific Lutheran for four seasons, during which time the program won the only two conference championships in the program’s history. He then moved on to serve as Director of Baseball Operations at University of Illinois-Chicago for two seasons. Cafferty and his wife Rachael reside in St. Paul with their children Micah (4) and Jonah (2). He is currently employed full-time at Concordia University-St. Paul and works as a Partnership Liaison developing relationships with local two-year colleges.
