Macalester College Athletics

John is entering his tenth season with the Macalester baseball program.  JP works with the infielders and hitters.  Peterson played his college ball at Minnesota State University - Mankato where he was an all-conference performer and member of a North Central Conference championship team.  JP also coaches in the summer for the Edina, Minnesota, American Legion team.  He earned a master’s degree in education from MSU and currently teaches English at Brooklyn Center High School.  John, his wife Suzette, daughter Sadie, and son Sam, reside in St. Paul.
