Jamie Eggleston joined the Macalester baseball program as an assistant coach in 2019. He works with our pitchers and serves as bullpen coach. Eggleston also owns Pitcher Perfect - Baseball and Softball Academy in St. Paul.
Coach Egg pitched at Clemson University and played in two College World Series. As a side arm hurler, he was named ACC Pitcher of the Week in May 1995. Eggleston was a four-time letter winner at Clemson. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Textile Chemistry and worked at 3M as an engineer until 2018. He and his wife Vicki have three children, David, Christopher and Lauren, and a dog Dabo, and reside in the Mac Groveland neighborhood of St. Paul.
