Christian Blanck is a 2000 graduate of Macalester and is beginning his sixth year on the coaching staff. Blanck, a native of Minneapolis, enjoyed a successful playing career at Macalester. He was a two-time all-conference performer and holds the team record for wins in a season (8). Christian capped off his Mac athletic career with the ‘Macalester Athlete of the Year’ award in ’00. Blanck earned degrees in Art and Religious Studies, and is currently teaching art in the Edina School District. He previously coached with the Edina American Legion team and South High School in Minneapolis.
