Appeared in a team-best 13 games with two starts on the mound… Was 2-1 with an earned run average of 2.31 to rank first on the team… Struck out 33 in 39.0 innings pitched… Also registered two saves… Earned the save against Concordia (WI) with three scoreless innings in a 5-4 win Mar. 13… Picked up the win with 4 1/3 shutout innings vs. Concordia (WI) Mar. 17… Struck out five and allowed a run on four hits in 6 1/3 innings in a no-decision at Carleton Apr. 4… Tossed eight shutout innings, allowing five hits while walking two and fanning six in a 7-0 victory over Gustavus Apr. 25… Closed out a 3-1 win at Augsburg with a scoreless inning Apr. 30.

2014
Started first collegiate game against Crown College Mar. 15, throwing four innings with six strikeouts and two hits… Made scoreless relief appearances against Cornell Mar. 30, St. Olaf Apr. 12, Augsburg Apr. 26 and Augsburg May 5… Entered in top of the 9th inning in a 3-2 game with two runners against Hamline May 4, getting a strikeout and two groundouts to pick up the save… Was third for the Scots in ERA and first in saves.

Before Mac
Capped off a stellar prep career at Piedmont High School by leading his team to a sectional runner-up finish… Posted a 2.80 ERA his senior year while striking out 53 batters in 70+ innings… Named first team all-conference… Also hit .370 on the season… Earned Oakland Tribune Player of the Week honors… Named Cy Young Award winner by his teammates… Posted a 5-0 record his junior year with a 2.40 ERA and earned honorable mention all-conference honors… Three-time letterwinner in both baseball and water polo… Was a two-time team MVP in water polo and named all-conference his senior year… Three-time Honor Roll Scholar Athlete.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
It’s been a great experience so far making a lot of amazing friends and having an incredible time with my teammates during the baseball season as we bonded as a unit and a pitching staff.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
The diverse student body of Macalester has given me a world view through my classmates that has helped shape me as an individual.
