Studied abroad in Oslo, Norway for the 2016 fall semester.

2017
Played in 39 games with 27 starts… Hit .323 with 41 hits, 25 runs, three doubles, two homers and 15 runs batted in… Was 3-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs in a win over UW-Superior Mar. 29… Went 4-for-7 in a doubleheader sweep of Augsburg Apr. 7… Had a pair of hits and scored two runs in the Scots’ victory over Bethel in the final game of the MIAC Playoffs May 13… Delivered a hit in each of the Scots’ two games at the NCAA Midwest Regional May 18-19.

2016
Led the Scots with a .415 batting average to earn a spot on the ABCA/Rawlings All-Midwest Region second team… Registered 49 hits, five doubles, a triple, a homer and 19 RBIs… Posted 16 multi-hit games… Went 4-for-5 with three runs, two doubles and two RBIs in a victory at Augsburg Apr. 10… Was 5-for-7 with three runs, three RBI and a home run in a split with Bethel Apr. 26.

2015
Played in 25 games with 18 starts as a first year… Batted .306 with five doubles and 10 RBIs… Scored four runs in the win over Winnipeg Mar. 14… Was 2-for-2 with a run and a double at Concordia Apr. 8… Had two hits and drove in a run in a win over Gustavus Apr. 25.

Before Mac
Was team captain senior year, batting .437 with 28 runs and 22 RBIs… Named to the 4A South All-Division team, the All-Gazette 2nd Team and the Senior All Star Team… Also named to the All-Division team  honors his junior year… Played basketball competing in the state finals for Whitman High School … Four year recipient of both the Scholar Athlete Award and Honor Roll.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I decided to attend Mac because of its location in the Twin Cities, strong academics, and focus on internationalism. Another factor in my decision to attend MAC was being able to continue playing baseball.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
Macalester has been an amazing experience so far. I have enjoyed meeting new friends and furthering my baseball career. Also, the classes offered at Mac are interesting and the professors are always willing to help.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a student-athlete at Mac has forced me to be aware of how I utilize time throughout the day. I am now much more conscientious about looking ahead and planning exactly what I have to get done.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
As a student-athlete at Macalester, I have been able to hone my time management skills. Being part of a team has helped me better understand how to bring people together to reach a common goal. Also, it has given me the opportunity to meet and learn from great people.
