Received Academic All-MIAC honors... Started in two of eight appearances for the Scots… Struck out 15 batters in 17.2 innings… Struck out four batters in three innings against Saint John’s on April 23.

2021
Played in five games for the Scots, making a start in one... Pitched 11 innings and threw for 13 strikeouts.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
Coach Parrington first approached me at a tournament. I then researched the school and found that it had all the things I was looking for in a school, plus I could play baseball. It was a great fit for me academically, so I applied Early Decision.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
For me, one of the biggest things I have learned while being a student-athlete is time management. Like many, I was plagued with procrastination when it came to balancing all things in my life. While being a student-athlete at Macalester, I've become a more disciplined person as a whole.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
In my experience, the most crucial part of being a student-athlete at Macalester is your ability to manage and use your time efficiently.  I think this experience will serve me well for life after graduation, as I will already be used to managing my time between multiple aspects if my life.
