The Nordic Club welcomes all identities and levels of experience. We work to create a fun and welcoming environment where all skiers can improve their skills, compete to their desired intensity, and enjoy Minnesota winters.

Practice Schedule
Check back in the winter for specific practice times!
We host practices five to six days a week at various locations around the metro, such as Battle Creek Park Reserve, Highland Golf Course, and Theodore Wirth Regional Park. We ask that skiers come to at least one practice a week, and we provide free transportation to all practices.
Equipment
We have free skis, poles, and boots that are available to borrow at practices. We also reimburse the cost of season ski passes for skiers who regularly attend practices.
Races
Racing is completely optional. We compete in several citizen races, such as:
- City of Lakes Loppet, 1/31/26 - 2/1/26
- Mora Vassaloppet, 2/7/26 - 2/8/26
- American Birkebeiner, 2/21/26
