Mission Statement:
We are the open ultimate frisbee team at Macalester College. Our mission is to create a safe and welcoming space to play ultimate frisbee with the top priority being that everyone has fun playing, regardless of skill level, gender identity, race, or sexual orientation. We respect and support ourselves, our teammates, and our opponents. We believe mistakes are a positive opportunity for improvement. We practice empathy and compassion for ourselves and others. We seek to create a space where everyone can improve, regardless of skill level. We defend consent. We help each other uphold these values by holding our teammates accountable for their actions. We are competitive, but never to the point of losing sight of these priorities.

We practice on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and once on the weekend, generally in the afternoon/evening.
Competition:
We compete at the D-III level against local opponents such as St. Olaf and Carleton, as well as regional opponents across the Midwest at the tournaments we attend throughout the school year.
Upcoming Tournament Schedule:
Exit 69 Tournament (Northfield, MN) - September
Eau Claire Chillout (Eau Claire, WI) - October
Ugly Dome (Minneapolis, MN) - February
Midwest Throwdown (St. Louis, MO) - March
Old Capitol Open (Marion, IA) - March
Postseason (Sections, Regionals, Nationals) - April/May
Spring Recap:
This past spring we competed at a few tournaments in the midwest, highlighted by our participation at Huck Finn in Missouri. There we got to play against D-I competition and bag a few wins over some big schools! We went into regionals with hopes of qualifying for nationals, but ultimately we fell just short and finished in 3rd place.
