Macalester will host the inaugural Janis Rider Invitational women’s track & field meet on Saturday (April 30) at Macalester Stadium. This event – formerly the Macalester Invitational – is dedicated to the memory of Macalester assistant track track & field coach and M Club Hall of Fame athlete Janis Rider, who passed away unexpectedly August 23, 2010 while vacationing in Hawaii. The naming ceremony will begin at 11:45 a.m.
