Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester for the competitive D3 soccer as well as the academic rigor. I wanted my professors to know my name as well as small class sizes for my voice to be heard. I was also looking for resources and adventure at a school near a big city, but I got luckier because Mac has 2 big cities! When I visited, everyone was so friendly and welcoming that I knew that this was where I belonged.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
Macalester has been a dream come true! Everyone is so passionate and kind and I really enjoy the collaborative environment. I'm super excited to play my first season of collegiate soccer after being injured all of my freshman season. Go Mac!

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
It's made me become better organized and better at time management. It has also made me a better teammate on the field and in the classroom. Representing Macalester on the field and going to school has made me a happier individual. GO MAC!

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student-athlete at Mac has given me four years of extensive critical thinking and teamwork skills. Being able to be successful as an individual, but also in a team setting is very valuable in our society and I strongly believe that being a student-athlete here has already helped me to achieve that. Go Mac!
