Made five appearances, including two starts… Pitched scoreless innings of relief in a win at Carleton Apr. 11 and against UW-Superior Apr. 23.

2016
Pitched in six games, all out of the bullpen… Struck out nine batters in eight innings.

2015
Made 10 appearances and three starts, posting a record of 3-2… Struck out 17 in 22 2/3 innings… Picked up his first collegiate victory in his first appearance, pitching two scoreless innings vs. Winnipeg Mar. 14… Earned the win against UW-Stout, allowing two hits and two runs in four innings Apr. 12… Also recorded the victory in a 7-0 win over North Central Apr. 27 with two scoreless innings.

Three-year letterwinner in baseball for the Landon School… Served as team captain senior year… Played starting goalie for conference championship hockey team… Named first team all-conference and first team All-Montgomery Gazette in hockey.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
Macalester was the obvious choice for me. Having heard about the school through my dad, Class of ’82, I knew that it was tremendous academically. After meeting Coach Parrington and visiting the school, it was apparent that the athletic and social aspects of campus were in accord with what I was looking for. The amalgamation of the academics, athletics, and social life made Macalester the most propitious option for me.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
The professors at Macalester are great, and they have helped me grow as a student. And again, Coach Parrington is one of the best coaches in the nation, so he, along with the rest of the coaching staff, have only furthered my growth as a person.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Macalester has presented me with myriad opportunities for growth both on and off the baseball field. Ultimately, Macalester has taught me that it's my generation that is going to be the one to fight for change, and that we must believe in that. It has taught me to wear my heart on my sleeve and bet that I can make a difference in world, for the sake of the Children. It has been a great experience, and I am very excited for one more year of learning and growing with my teammates.
