Devin had another strong season with the bat and in the field to earn all-conference honors for the second time . . . He ranked second in runs (29), hits (45), and triples (2), while he ranked third in batting average (.366) and RBI (22) . . . Devin was voted the team’s Defensive Player of the Year and team captain for the second consecutive season . . . Had a breakout sophomore season, earning both all-conference and all-region honors . . . English anchored third base and established himself as a solid leadoff hitter . . . He led the team in many offensive categories: hits (46), RBI (27), home runs (4), slugging percentage (.531) and doubles (11) . . . Had a multi-home run game vs. Gustavus on 4-20-08 . . . English was voted by his teammates as both the team’s Most Valuable Offensive and Most Valuable Defensive player . . . collected his first collegiate hit vs. Dickinson College on 3-6-07 . . .
