Dean’s List recipient… Educating Sustainability Ambassador Fellow… Paris Dispatches Student… Serves as the student representative on the Sustainability Advisory Committee… Member of MacCARES and Mr. M… Works with Team IMPACT as a campus ambassador… Attended Team IMPACT Game Day Gala with teammate Caleb Maaske in March of 2016… Studied abroad in Rwanda, Paris and Germany.

2015
Made the All-Midwest Conference North Division second team at safety… Ranked second on the team with 60 tackles, including two tackles for loss… Also had an interception and two forced fumbles… Racked up 11 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble in a win at Knox Oct. 3… Registered 10 tackles vs. St. Norbert Nov. 7… Earned a spot on the Midwest Conference Academic All-Conference team.

2014
Named to the All-Midwest Conference North Division team for special teams… Totaled 15 tackles while playing in all 11 games… Intercepted a pass and returned it 41 yards in a victory over Knox Oct. 4… Received Midwest Conference Academic All-Conference honors.

2013
Arrived on campus as quarterback, but also played defensive back as well as being a key contributor on the kickoff unit... Appeared in six games during his freshman campaign... Recorded two tackles on special teams versus Trinity Bible.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My most cherished memories of Macalester are the experiences I have been able to share with my newly acquired Mac family. Macalester has given me the opportunity to challenge myself both as an athlete and as an academic. These challenges have shaped my growth as a young college student. I greatly anticipate the coming years as I continue my journey as a Macalester Fighting Scot.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a student-athlete at Macalester has taught me to be grateful for the opportunity to represent this college and compete in the sports that I love. My teammates and coaches have been influential and supportive reminding me of the reason I play team sports. I have come to learn that my athletic commitments are meaningful but are only one component of my greater Macalester experience.
