Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because I am able to continue both my on-field and off-field interests with rigorous and challenging academics. I wanted a small liberal arts school and I wanted to be in a city, so Macalester was a very natural fit.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Macalester. I have found that athletics, academics, and extracurriculars are all exciting and interesting. Even though there is a lot going on and a lot to do, I have all felt that the environment at Mac is one that helps me succeed, rather than be overwhelmed.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My time as a student-athlete at Macalester has given me a sense of responsibility and accountability both to myself and to my teammates that carries through to the classroom and extra-curriculars.  I have also gained a greater sense of discipline and self-motivation in order to find success on and off the field.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
My experience as a student-athlete at Macalester has primarily taught me leadership, teamwork, and discipline. As I learn more and more from my teammates, coaches, and professors, I know that these are lifelong skills that will not only benefit me in the year of football I have left, but also prove to be incredible assets moving forward to my next chapter.
