Registered 26 tackles and 5.0 sacks in 11 games… Had seven total tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble vs. Lawrence Oct. 25… Tallied three tackles and a sack in the MWC Championship victory at Illinois College Nov. 15… Earned Midwest Conference Academic All-Conference honors.

Before Mac
Three-time all-conference selection in football for Mayo High… Four-time all-conference selection in track… Earned Academic All-State honors in track and football.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a student athlete is a great way to bring one's self closer to being a whole human being, because success in the classroom and on the career path is important to making money, but money is only part of a sound mind, body, and spirit. Football at Mac teaches you how to be in touch with your body and to be self-motivated.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student-athlete allows Mac students to take pride in both their mental and physical endeavors. It has helped me become a well-rounded, healthy and happy person, with confidence and humility as I face my new life beyond undergraduate school and sports. Additionally, the Mac student-athlete community is an indispensable source of friends, mentors, job connections, resources, and fun!
