Played in 31 games with 29 starts at shortstop… Batted .315 with 19 runs and 11 RBIs… Went 3-for-3 at the plate with two runs vs. Gustavus Apr. 25… Also was 3-for-3 with a run and four RBIs in a victory at Augsburg Apr. 30… Drove in a pair of runs apiece in wins over Carroll Mar. 14 and Concordia Mar. 17.

2014
Hit 2-for-5 with two runs scored vs. Central Mar. 15… Went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs at St. Thomas Apr. 2… Played in 34 games for the Scots hitting .219 and scoring 21 runs.

2013
Made 10 starts in the infield, posting a .250 batting average … Notched first career hit vs. Bethany Lutheran College on 3/5/13 … Was a perfect 4 for 4 in stolen bases … Collected first career RBI vs. North Central University (3/11/13), a game in which is also scored four runs … Season was cut short due to an injury sustained on the spring trip to Tucson, Ariz.

Before Mac
Three-time all-conference performer at Wisconsin Lutheran High School… Batted .333 his senior year and went 24 for 25 in stolen bases… Was a four-time all-conference cross country runner and captained the team his senior year that won the WIAA Division II Cross Country Championship.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
The challenging academic experience, the top rated athletic facilities, the close relationships between students and professors, and the proximity to many opportunities in the Twin Cities were some reasons for my choosing Macalester. Nonetheless, I chose to attend Macalester largely due to the great coaching staff. Because of the influence coaches have on a student-athlete's experience, it was assuring to know that I would have coaches at Macalester that cared about my pursuits both on and off the field.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
The environment Macalester creates for learning is uncommon. It is the type of environment that inspires me each day through interactions with professors, coaches, and fellow students. I especially appreciate the fact that conversation with teammates can go from the latest happenings in sports to the implications of various issues in the world. I consider it a large blessing to attend Macalester while being a leader for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter at Macalester.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a student-athlete has fortified a desire to embrace challenge. I have improved the skill of efficiently managing my time, and learned the importance of being flexible. Also, Macalester has helped me acquire a global perspective that has made me ponder how my actions can affect both my local and global community. I thank God for the opportunities that I have as a student-athlete at Macalester.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
My experience as a student-athlete at Macalester has been marked with moments of triumph and with moments that are rather humbling. Considering how life after graduation will provide the same ups and downs, I feel prepared to properly handle success and failure. Also, I have learned the importance of reflection while at Mac. I have found it important to stop every once in awhile and assess how I'm doing academically, athletically, or in other facets of life. Lastly, I have learned the important skill to say "no" to opportunities in order to prevent burning out. There are so many amazing opportunities at Macalester, which can make it hard to say "no"; however, staying productive in my commitments requires a "no" when appropriate.
