What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?

My first year at Macalester was absolutely incredible. I'm extremely thankful for the opportunity to play both basketball and softball here while receiving nothing short of a top-notch education. Above that, I'm thankful for my teammates, friends, and mentors who have turned a somewhat mundane human life into something completely new -- something resembling  a golden-globe worthy motion picture series with the absolute ideal fusion of comedy, drama, and even thrilling elements.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Basketball has shaped my work ethic, cultivated my competitive spirit, and even inspired my current entrepreneurial venture.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student-athlete at Macalester has inspired me to seek challenges in the future. The experience has provided me with the confidence and attitude I need to solve real-world problems either as an individual or as a member of a team.
