Totaled seven tackles while playing in nine games.

Played in all 11 games, recording six solo tackles and four assists as a defensive back… Also had a pass breakup against Knox Oct. 4.

2013
Made his first collegiate appearance on his 19th birthday at Maranatha Baptist on September 21st... Threw his first career collegiate pass versus Trinity for a six-yard completion... Was primarily the third string quarterback for the season.

Named First-Team All-Conference playing as both a quarterback and defensive back for Lake County Lutheran… Recognized as Midwest Classic Conference Offensive Player of the Year… Winner of Scholar-Athlete Award… Graduated as Valedictorian of class.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester not only because I had the privilege to play for a good football program, but also because of the prestigious academic standards of the school. It's really rewarding to have a great football family who also is very serious about their academic life.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
I have become friends with so many people from different places all around the world, in addition to my football family. I don't think many people have the same opportunity to experience people from lots of different backgrounds every day. I believe that I have grown through those relationships in so many ways and am so thankful.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
As student-athletes we are held to a higher standard of integrity among the Macalester community. I take that challenge as an opportunity to become a better son, brother, and role model through pursuing athletics at a top-tier institution.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a successful student-athlete at a rigorous institution like Macalester develops a swath of intangible skills that you cannot gain in most other educational experiences. This experience prepares you for what the real world will throw at you, preparing you for a life full of hardships and challenges.
