2012: Competed in four games as a defensive back during freshman campaign . . . Totaled two tackles in his first career collegiate game versus Crown . . . Credited with a solo tackle at home versus Maranatha Baptist
Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because it is a small, liberal arts college that hosts a vibrant community. Students here receive great attention from their professors and have access to internships and study abroad opportunities.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
As a student-athlete at Macalester I have developed a great number of qualities–all of which help me bring a unique perspective to life. In addition, I have received rigorous coursework that has broadened my knowledge and expanded my critical thinking and problem solving skills. Given my participation in sports, I know how to persevere and tackle any situation that comes my way.
