Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to come to Macalester because it offered everything I was interested in. It is located in a beautiful part of St. Paul and downtown Minneapolis is only a quick drive away. It was also a place that I was going to be able to compete at the Division 3 level for swimming. It offers a liberal arts education which would give me the opportunity to explore my interests and figure out where I want my future to head.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
Being at Macalester has consisted of the most personal growth I have ever experienced as well as learning to become a more conscious global citizen.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a student-athlete at Macalester has given me so many opportunities to grow. I value my team over any individual achievement; something I thought I understood but was truly unfamiliar with before swimming at Mac.
