As a Scot
Studied abroad in Madrid, Spain during spring 2016.

2015
Named All-MIAC and made the All-North Region second team after leading the Scots with eight goals… Also had one assist, 17 points and three game-winning goals… Scored two goals in the final 11 minutes, including the game-winner in the 89th minute, to beat St. Thomas, 3-2 Oct. 10… Selected the MIAC Athlete of the Week Oct. 13… Also netted game-winning goals against Northwestern Sept. 8 and Saint Mary’s Oct. 14… Scored goals in wins over St. Scholasica Sept. 11, Concordia Sept. 19 and Augsburg Oct. 24… Had a goal in a 3-3 tie at Wartburg Sept. 1.

2014
Received All-MIAC honorable mention… Started 17 of 19 games in his sophomore campaign… Picked up his first goal and first assist on the season in a win over Coe Sept. 5… Also scored against Augsburg Sept. 27 and Saint Mary’s Nov. 1… Against #25 Gustavus assisted on the game-winning goal.

2013
Played in all 18 games for the Scots, earning a start in eight… Scored first collegiate goal in a 1-0 victory against Hamline Sept. 21… Also scored against Bethel Oct. 5.

Member of 2012 KingCo Conference Championship team … 2012 Most Inspirational player for Roosevelt High School ... 2012 and 2013 All-KingCo Conference selection … 2013 Team Captain … Led the Roughriders to 3rd place team at the 2013 WIAA State Championship Tournament

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because of its strong academic reputation and urban setting. I was also drawn to it by the decorated history of the soccer program, and the opportunity to play in one of the country's most competitive conferences at the Division 3 level.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
So far I have met some wonderful people and had some incredible experiences through my brief time as a student-athlete here and I'm looking forward to many more over the next three years.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a student athlete at Macalester has taught me valuable lessons about discipline leadership, and accountability that I will take with me for the rest of my life.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Through my experience as a student athlete at Macalester, I have learned innumerable lessons about leadership, teamwork, and time management which can be applied and utilized in a vast range of aspects of life here and after graduation. I also have made many valuable relationships that I will undoubtedly keep for years to come.
