Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester due to its size, location, academic reputation, and the feel of its campus.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
In addition to my courses and class work which are both significant parts of my Macalester experience, my experience has also been defined by opportunities to create relationships with interesting people and participate in activities put on by people who are passionate about improving problems they see in the world.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
The Macalester Women's Cross-Country team has made me braver, fiercer, and more confident. Team cultures are sometimes stereotyped negatively, but the team culture on this team is one of support, empowerment, and kindness. The network of amazing people I've met on this team has always been a highlight of my Mac experience.
