Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because of the close student-professor relationships and research opportunities. The ability to compete in the MIAC, at a high collegiate level was a strong motivation as well.
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
It has been a great time to explore fields and classes I never considered before.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My student-athlete experience has given me chances to take risks and find what I am capable of doing.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being a student-athlete is great in this sense because it gets you out in the world to other campuses and cities for competitions. I think this by itself is one of the major ways it has prepared me.
