Why did you choose to attend Macalester?

Macalester offered a very challenging environment which really sparked my interest. Every visit I took to Macalester really broadened my views on what Mac could do for me. From its rigorous course work, to its diverse student body, to its location in the heart of the Twin Cities everything seemed like a new and exciting mountain to climb. But what really drove me to choose Macalester was the sense of family I got whenIi would spend time with the football team. For me, that was the key deciding factor.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?

Being a student athlete at Macalester has been a very challenging experience. From the rigorous course work to the intense physical and mental commitment that a varsity sport entails there is not much time left over. This experience has shown me that anything is possible if you are willing put in the time and do the work.
