Why did you choose to attend Macalester?

I wanted to be at a top academic institution away from home while being able to play football.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?

Macalester has been my second home. Coming from Hawaii, I did not know how I would adjust to all the changes, but with the help of my teammates, coaches and staff, I was able to acclimate easily to Macalester. I had to fight through adversity during my first year, but I learned that change is always present in our lives and we have to embrace it the best we can.
