Why did you choose to attend Macalester?

I was looking for a highly academic school where I would still be able to play football, and being from Los Angeles, I did not want to be in the middle of nowhere as many of the schools I was looking at were. I was also interested in pursuing a career in the medical field, and Mac has a fortified Chemistry and Biology department. It was a no-brainer, Mac would be my home for the next four years.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?

Mac has been eye-opening. I don't think I could find such a unique, intimate atmosphere anywhere else. Back home I now see things with a different perspective, and I am able to have more in depth conversations with people everywhere. Mac has definitely broadened my horizons and will continue to do so.
