Sings with the ChroMACtics a cappella group… Studied abroad during spring 2016 in Granada, Spain… Also competes in track and field for Macalester… Named offensive captain for 2016.

2015
Caught 16 passes for 211 yards and one touchdown while starting all 10 games… Averaged 13.2 yards per reception… Scored on a 51-yard touchdown pass at Carroll Oct. 31… Caught five passes for 41 yards in a win over Beloit Oct. 17… Earned a spot on the Midwest Conference Academic All-Conference team.

2014
Ranked second on the team with 25 catches for 423 yards and three touchdowns… Also returned 20 kicks for 371 yards for an average of 18.6 yards per return… Caught a 70-yard touchdown pass to tie the score in the fourth quarter of the Scots’ 30-27 victory at Illinois College in the Midwest Conference championship game Nov. 15… Finished that game with three catches for 110 yards and four kick returns for 110 yards… Scored touchdowns in back-to-back wins over Ripon Oct. 11 and Beloit Oct. 18.

2013
Finished third on the team with 30 receptions and 286 yards... Caught season-high six catches for 87 yards and a score at Maranatha Baptist... Caught four passes for 56 yards and a score against Carleton... Averaged 8.9 yards per catch... Had a season-long 32-yard kickoff return vs. Carleton... Made his first career collegiate start in the season finale vs. Hamline.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because it gave me the opportunity to continue in my athletic endeavors while still getting a top-flight education at one of the best institutions in the country. I truly believe that the coaching staff values me not only as an athlete, but more importantly as a young man.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
Within my short time at Macalester I have already started to notice subtle, positive changes to my whole self as both an athlete and as a person as a direct result of the community and camaraderie it provides. I'm excited to see what the future holds for my teammates as well as myself as we continue to impact one another's lives.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a student athlete at Macalester has allowed me to develop both socially and intellectually into the person I am today by providing a support group that encourages individuality and diversity.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Participating as a student athlete at Macalester has enabled me to balance the challenges of adhering to a strict schedule, remaining healthy both physically and mentally, being successful in and out of the classroom, as well as giving me the ability to pursue my own happiness.
