Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because it offered me the opportunity to continue to play soccer at a high level as well as one of the most prestigious college educations in the US.
 
What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
My experiences at Macalester have been awesome so far! I have gotten to meet people from all over the country and the world, and have gotten to learn about their backgrounds and cultures. Being at Macalester has helped me to step out of my comfort zone and try new things and has helped me discover more about myself. My classes have challenged me to think about problems from different perspectives and to take what I have learned and apply it to times outside the classroom.
 
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a student athlete at Macalester has helped me to manage my time more efficiently and develop my ability to work in a group of people from all different types of backgrounds to accomplish a common goal as well as make friendships that will last long after graduation.
 
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
My experience as a Macalester student-athlete has taught me how to be resilient in difficult times and that God has a plan for each and every person. These lessons that I have learned while being a Macalester student-athlete will allow me to leave Macalester with the tools necessary to tackle any problem that comes my way.
