Why did you choose Macalester?
I chose Mac because it had everything I wanted and needed, academically and athletically. Being at a top-rated educational institution, where the possibilities are endless in almost any field a student studies, combined with sports programs that were rising in competitiveness and talent, was a dream come true for me. Everyone here at Mac is different, but they all share the same values and goals.

What other activities are you involved in on campus/in the community?
At Macalester, I play varsity baseball and club hockey. I am also involved with FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and I have done research in the Chemistry Department at Macalester. I have volunteered for several groups of people and various organizations around the community and as well as at home, particularly Faith In Action.

What do you want to do after your time here at Macalester?
After graduating from Macalester, I want to go to grad school, but I'm not sure where or what I want to specialize in. Medical school and law school are two options as well as chemical engineering.

Favorite sports movie and/or quote?
My favorite sports movie is both "The Sandlot" and "Remember the Titans." My favorite sports quote is "Attitude reflects leadership, captain."
