2013 – Nick got off to a quick start in his college career, he collected a hit and RBI in his first collegiate at-bat vs. St. Scholastica on 2-25-13 . . . led the team in triples (5), ranked second in batting average (.327) and total bases (54), third in on base percentage (.412), and fourth in RBI (19) . . . made three pitching appearances, logging 5.2 innings . . . hit .444 on spring trip in Tucson, Ariz. . . . High School – the Crofton, Maryland, native comes to Macalester from South River HS . . . captained the team his last two years . . . was a four year starter and earned first team all-county honors both his junior and senior years . . . named to the Futures All-Star game following his junior year, and played in the Brooks Robinson All-State game at Oriole Park at Camden Yards his senior year . . . also selected all-metro by the Baltimore Sun . . . ran indoor track and held the 55 meter and 300 meter school records. . . named the Young Entrepreneur of the Year from the local Chamber of Commerce during his senior year.
