Why I chose Macalester:
I chose Macalester because I knew I wasn't done playing football yet, and I wanted to go to a college that would offer a great academic opportunity.

What Macalester has meant to me:
To me, Macalester is a second home. By growing up in a small town with a big family, I spent a lot of time at home. Leaving Chippewa Falls proved to be a hard task for me my freshmen year, because I was homesick. As I created more friendships with my teammates, my comfort level at Macalester increased. Going into my junior year at Macalester I have come to realize that Ii have two homes: one being where I grew up back in Wisconsin, and the other being here at Macalester with my brothers and coaches.

How Macalester Football has prepared me for life after graduation:
It has taught me that the best knowledge one can know is the knowledge of what we do not know.
