Why I chose Macalester:
I chose Mac because I felt it was where I was able to best push myself academically and still be able to play football at a high level. I also felt that the coaching staff at Mac cared about me as a person more than any other coaches that recruited me. The location of Macalester also was a big reason for my decision. There are so many great opportunities in the business world that I would like to take advantage of while I'm at Macalester.

What Macalester has meant to me:
From the time I first stepped on campus, I have felt a part of a family at Macalester. Everybody, from teachers and administration to the coaches, seems to genuinely care about you at Macalester. Any time I was struggling in class I was able to shoot an email to a professor and receive help very quickly. I feel like I have grown much as a person from all my experiences at Macalester.

How Macalester Football has shaped me as an individual:
Being a student-athlete at Mac has helped shaped me as an individual in many ways. It has taught me how to work with people with many different backgrounds to achieve a common goal. It has also shown me that great things can happen when you get everybody in a group working hard together. Macalester football has helped shape me into the person that I am today by helping me learn how to be a leader in everything I do.
