What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
I love the general atmosphere of camaraderie and acceptance on campus. After attending an academically competitive high school the intelligence of Macalester without the competitive student body was really refreshing.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
My experience as a student athlete has made me much stronger because it has made me more independent and taught me how to support others. I have learned how to work for something much larger than myself and this has motivated me in ways nothing else has because of the love for my teammates.
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Being apart of a team as close as ours has given me a support network that will last long after college. Outside of a strong support network I have also developed a regimented work ethic that has improved my organization.
