How Macalester Football has prepared me for life after graduation:
As an athlete, you're told all your life that winning isn't everything, but only recently have I felt mature enough to really know what that means. I'm not going to make a living playing football, but I am going to take valuable lessons from football into whatever path I do follow after graduation. I've learned how to persevere through adversity and also to celebrate victory with humility. I've learned to be confident and set expectations high but also to be selfless for the good of the team. The strength of character gained on the football field is invaluable in future endeavors.
