Why I chose Macalester:
"I chose Macalester because it was both academically challenging, yet inviting and fun. I've found that the school work is challenging, but there are many opportunities to distance yourself from the pressure by joining campus clubs, going into the city, or spending time with friends. Macalester soccer has provided me an opportunity to focus my energy and abilities in the sport I love while simultaneously providing a solid social network of people I've learned to respect and enjoy. Getting to know people as a part of a team is a unique experience and I feel I've grown and matured because of it."
