Macalester College Athletics

Why I chose Macalester:
One of the many things that attracted me to Macalester was the past success of the men's soccer team, along with the potential for future success. I was also attracted to Macalester because it was a small liberal arts school with a great reputation, a diverse population, and because it was located in a big city with plenty of things going on. Another great thing about playing soccer at Macalester is that you get the most use out of the Leonard Center for athletics, which a great facility that is only a few years old. I'm really excited for this coming year, and based on the way everything has gone so far I would say we have a chance to repeat and add to the outstanding success of last years team. So far everything about the season has been outstanding, and everyone on the team has been very helpful with my transition into the college life, and I'm positive that I've made the right choice in choosing Macalester.

What Macalester has meant to me:
My time at Macalester has meant a great deal to me both on and off the soccer field. On the field I've learned how to function with a team to achieve success through a combination of hard work and comradery, while outside of soccer I've made long lasting friendships that have helped shape me into the person I am today.
