Jillian is the lone senior and captain of the Macalester water polo team. Jillian is beginning her fourth season with the Scots and has been a key contributor over the last several years. Jillian has a spot-on outside shot and plays great team defense. The contributions she will make this season will surpass those of the previous years. Jillian is also a member of the swim team and finished her competitive career this year at the MIAC championships. Outside of water polo Jillian loves to bake bread. Jillian is the daughter of Jon and Shelley Benson and has two brothers. Jillian chose Macalester because "it's the coolest place on earth!"
