Why I chose Macalester:
"I chose Macalester because I knew I would be able to get a great education in a supportive environment. Even though everyone takes their academics very seriously, there is no competition between students and everyone helps each other. I also loved that soccer seemed to be a really important sport at Macalester, with tons of fans showing up for all the games. The soccer program at Macalester helped me meet a lot of friends I may never have met if I hadn't played, and it gave me a good support system if I ever needed help. The program has challenged me athletically while making soccer a ton of fun at the same time."
