Why I chose Macalester:
I chose Mac because it has shown its vehement desire to rejuvenate the football program while having a highly respected liberal arts program.

What Macalester has meant to me:
Coming to Mac has been one of my best decisions, because already I feel as though I am in great shape for my future. Academically, I feel ahead of the game because of grades and volunteer research opportunities. Athletically I feel as though I am becoming a better athlete and believe that my team is my family.

How Macalester Football has shaped me as an individual:
Being student-athlete has forced me to become more responsible and more efficient with my time. Midterms during football season can be tough enough at times to kill one's GPA and confidence, but I've learned to plan my time well enough to get through it. Many lessons learned in football can be applied to real life.
