Why I chose Macalester:
I chose to come to Macalester because of its excellent academic reputation, the small enrollment of the school while located in a large metropolitan area, and the ability to continue playing football in college.

What Macalester has meant to me:
Macalester has given me the opportunities that I had never thought possible before enrolling. From studying abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark, to continuing my athletic career to forming close personal bonds with students from other continents that have entirely different frames of reference, Macalester has opened doors that I previously thought did not exist.

Plans beyond Macalester:
I plan to spend a year or two volunteering my time for a cause affiliated with my major and minor (Political Science and Educational Studies), most likely the Peace Corps, before returning back to school to further my education.
