Inducted into the Hampshire Honor Society… Named Academic All-MIAC… Played four games… Registered 22 tackles and three pass breakups… Logged seven tackles, a pass breakup and blocked a kick at St. Scholastica on Oct. 5.

Received All-MIAC honors… Earned Academic All-District honors… Academic All-MIAC… Appeared in eight games… Recorded the second-most tackles on the team with 53 total and 43 solo… Blocked two kicks and broke up three passes… Tallied a tackle for a loss of two yards, two pass breakups and one blocked kick against St. Scholastica on Sept. 30.

2022
Registered the second-most tackles on the team with 49.0… Recorded three interceptions, three pass break ups and a forced fumble… Made eight tackles and a pass break up in the 45-24 win against Minnesota-Morris on Sept 3… Received All-MIAC Honorable Mention accolades… Received Academic All-District honors… Academic All-MIAC.

Saw action in nine games... Registered 43 tackles and broke up three passes... Totaled nine tackles, including six solo tackles, against Hamline on Oct. 30.

Named best male athlete of 2021 at Henry Sibley High School... Elected team captain twice for football and basketball... Peers voted him team MVP twice and best offensive player... Two-time all-district football honors... Academic all-state football honors... Two-time all-conference track honors... AP Scholar with honors... Achieved honor roll with a 4.0+ GPA all for years at Henry Sibley.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose to attend Macalester because of the many academic opportunities and ability to gain a better understanding of worldwide cultures. Mac also allows me to play in a competitive athletic conference downtown life in the Twin Cities.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you?
My experience at Macalester thus far has strengthened my character and opened my eyes to the world around me. I'm grateful for all of the relationships that I've made throughout my time so far and I have really felt welcomed as a first-generation college student. Macalester truly provided me with numerous unique experiences in only my first year. I can't wait to see what this year has in store. Roll Scots!

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
Being a student-athlete at Macalester College requires perseverance, corroboration, and self-reflection. All of these skills translate to success off the field, especially when learning how to acknowledge and overcome failure. I’m also grateful for all of the people - teammates, coaches, and faculty - who have helped me become who I am and continue to challenge me every day. I look forward to the final two years!

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
Macalester has taught me how to succeed through adversity and show up daily for my people.
