Biography
Why I chose Macalester:
"For me, what has separated Macalester from many other private liberalarts colleges is the people you meet here. In the classroom, we are incredibly lucky to have professors that are highly active in their field of research but also are deeply invested in teaching their students. The student body is also unique; we come from all over the globe, but at the same time are connected by the relaxed, friendly demeanor that is characteristic of Macalester. The soccer program here at Mac has been especially important to me and my college experience. The sense of community and the friendships I have developed with the team have helped me through all the physical and mental bumps and bruises of my first two years of college, and to be successful both on the field and in the classroom."
