Why I chose Macalester:
"I chose Macalester because I wanted a school that would challenge me. The small size, location in the Twin Cities, and emphasis on academic success as a student-athlete attracted me to Mac. I wanted a school that had strong science programs in a liberal arts setting. The soccer program at Macalester has been very rewarding. The opportunity to continue playing competitive soccer in college has been worthwhile and I enjoy playing with the fans, players, and coaches. Macalester's diverse student-body has allowed me to meet interesting people and broaden my views."
