Three-year starter at quarterback at Masconomet Regional High School… Named a second team Cape Ann League All-Star as a senior… Included on the Salem News Century Club four times… Received his team’s Coaches Award… Also played tennis at Masconomet, earning four varsity letters… Earned Scholar Athlete Award… Honor Roll and High Honor Roll recipient.

Why did you choose to attend Macalester?
I chose Macalester because I wanted to challenge myself academically, interact with a diverse student population, make long lasting friendships and continue to play the sport I love.

What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
Attending classes and training as an athlete was difficult at times during our COVID year. However, my experience at Macalester so far has shown me that through uncertain times success can be achieved in academics, social life and on the football field.
 
How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
I have learned how to balance a heavy course load with athletics which has helped develop my executive function skills. I have also had the chance to get to know the different perspectives my teammates possess which has allowed me to become a more well-rounded individual.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester prepared you for life after graduation?
The strict routine and structure that college athletics has provided me has helped me develop my time management and executive function skills. My development through my 4 years here at Macalester will serve me well in the professional world after graduation.
