What has your experience at Macalester meant to you so far?
I have loved forming strong relationships with friends, peers, and professors. Macalester has allowed me to grow as an intellectual, find opportunities for growth, and be challenged both in and out of the classroom.

How has your experience as a student-athlete at Macalester helped shape you as an individual?
I’ve been given ample opportunities to balance the myriad requirements of being a working student-athlete, and to find healthy ways to cope with stress and a heavy workload. Likewise, during the novel coronavirus pandemic, I have learned that consistency is key, and having the steady presence of daily work and camaraderie has been really important to both my mental and physical health.
